The Florida Fightin’ Possums is an elite lacrosse program in Florida for male athletes who desire to play lacrosse in college. We are recognized as one of the top club lacrosse programs in the nation, and have turned out talent to the DI, DII, DII, & Club programs.

 

We offer club programs in Orlando, Flagler, North Florida and Ancient City. The Florida Possums will be directed by Ponte Vedra’s Head Coach Tom West, Nease Head Coach David Ott, Pedro Menedez Head Coach Lou Argitis, Matanzas Head Coach Mike Jones, Flagler Head Coach Ryan Andrews and Lake Brantley’s Head Coach, Brian Theiss. Coach West and Theiss began the program years ago to help Florida players get recruited. Playing club lacrosse at this elite level will elevate your gameplay. You will have access and be coached by the highest caliber staff in Florida.

 

Playing for the Possums will get you noticed by college coaches due to our expansive college network formed with our directors and head college coaches, as well as, the showcase and recruiting tournament we travel to in the summer… Gait Cup, and the fall, The Fall Lacrosse Invitational presented by Dave Cottle. The summer and fall events, complete with practices are open to all, regardless of what club team you play for.

 

Florida is becoming more of a hotbed state for lacrosse and recruitment is at an all time high! We are COMMITTED to the growth of Florida lacrosse, this is PROVEN by what we’ve done.
